I am a Nottingham-based photographer whose main career has been in engineering and research, disciplines that inform my art but do not define it.  I like to take a narrative approach to my work, creating images that tell stories and evoke the emotions that run deep within the detailed landscapes that I generally choose to photograph.

For me, a successful image is one that takes the viewer on a journey, and the best ones take people to places I hadn't imagined.
